Mr. Arthur Thompson is a graduate of San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. Thompson Funeral Home opened on Christmas Day 1969 in Oakland California. Mr. Thompson wanted to start a funeral home to focus on two parts: physical and emotional. The physical is burials entombments and inurnments. The emotional is working with families to design healing experiences. Our peaceful and intimate setting becomes a place where people find closure renewal and togetherness.
