Stone Hill Veterinary Clinic in Big Rapids was established in 1995 by Wendell S.Weber DVM. The clinic was built to accommodate both large and small animal patients. Dr. Weber initially did farm calls for both cattle and horses at the same time developing a thriving small animal practice. Three years later Dr. Weber built a large barn behind the clinic using trees which he cut from his farm and sawed on his mill. The new facility enabled more large animal patients especially horses to be transported to the practice thus expanding equine reproduction and surgery capabilities. In 2000 Ann E. Smith DVM joined the practice focusing on small animal preventive care. The clinic was further expanded in 2008 when Dr. Weber added onto and remodeled the building. In 2020 we added a third veterinarian Dr. Matthew Grupido.
