Snyder Eye Clinic and Kunkel-Snyder Optometric have been providing eye care to our family of patients since April of 1990. With the complementing practices of ophthalmology and optometry in the same Watertown SD location we feel confident that we can provide the very best in total eye care to our patients.

    The eye wear center has an inventory of 750 frames with access to over 10000 different sizes shapes and colors. This includes budget to designer frames and sun wear for patients of all ages. Our highly trained optical staff will help choose which lens technology is right for each individual patient!

We are dedicated to provide our patients with the leading technology in diagnostic instruments surgical procedures along with the latest in fashion eye wear in the optical department. Our doctors and staff members also feel that it is very important to answer any questions that you might have on the day of your examination.

    Dr. Snyder is board-certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also on staff at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System and Mallard Pointe Surgical Center. Dr. Beth Kunkel and Dr. Matt Kunkel are members of the American Optometric Association and South Dakota Optometric Association. All of our doctors and staff continue their education with ongoing meetings and seminars to keep abreast with new information and technology.
