This is a personal blog that tells the story of my descent into a world of degenerative illness and my struggle to get a proper diagnosis. While my debilitating symptoms first feeding tube and first surgery began at age 10 followed by continuous hospitalizations through childhood and adolescence I wasn't properly diagnosed until 2014. At that point I was nearing terminal. This is the story of my journey and how I live day to day. I may be chronically ill I'm chronically in pain. I'm chronically anxious. I'm chronically frustrated. But I'm also chronically alive. I take things moment by moment and make the choice to be happy. I want to offer hope to others going through similar illnesses and spread awareness to the world.
