Dean Burns opened the first Captain Clean facility in 1973 in Stockport Iowa. His son Rod Burns opened a second facility in Ottumwa Iowa in 1994. Captain Clean serves all of Southeast Iowa and is certified by the Institute of Inspections Cleaning and Restoration Certification. Captain Clean is also a member of the Restoration Industry Association.
